How To Apply For Queens Chancellor Scholarship
The Queen’s Chancellor Scholarship offers reward to consecutive education students, student athletes, Queen’s alumnae, mature women students, Indigenous students, Black and racialized students, and students with disabilities only.

Some awards may have additional eligibility requirements. Review the specific details for each award program to determine eligibility.
To be eligible for most admission awards you must be:
- Entering the first year of post-secondary education for the first time in a full-time (minimum 60% course load) Queen’s undergraduate degree program on Queen’s campus or at the Bader International Study Centre (graduates from a 2-year CEGEP program transferring into their first year of a Queen’s program remain eligible for grades-based admission scholarships)
- Students with prior post-secondary education are not eligible for Queen’s admission awards
- Domestic (Canadian citizens, permanent residents) and international students (including U.S. students) will be considered for automatic grade-based admission scholarships
- International and U.S. students should also visit the International and U.S. Students section for more information on additional admission awards
- Queen’s will calculate an awards average based on grades available at the time you are offered admission
- Final grades will be assessed for scholarship and award consideration for those students who accept their offer of admission to Queen’s
- If you do not receive a scholarship offer at the time you were offered admission, we will review your final grades after we have received final grade reports from the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre in July/August
- Summer courses taken in the summer immediately prior to your admit term to the university will not be used in the assessment of your final grade average
Note: To receive and remain eligible to retain an admission scholarship/award in the academic year granted, the student must be admitted and registered as a full-time student in the fall/winter academic year.

- Login to the Queen’s admission portal at Queen’s Admission.
- Enter Your Email Address(Make sure you type in an active Email because that is the only channel of communication the can offer admission)
- Activate your NetID(After entering your email address, you will receive update on steps to activate your NetID.)
- Use your NetID to sign into the SOLUS Student Center, which you can access by logging into MyQueen’sU.
- Check the SOLUS Student Centre for a list of all the documents we require from you, and for the status of your application.
- On Your SOLUS Student Centre, you will submit your transcript.( visit our supplementary information page.) Transcript is just one piece of information we use when making an admission decision. Each applicant to Queen’s has a unique To-Do List.
- Check your To Do List.(Check your To Do List and application status through SOLUS.)
- Apply for an admission bursary.Bader International Study Centre applicants (first-year and upper-year) should also apply for a BISC bursary.

- English Language Proficiency. If English is your second language? you may need to provide evidence of standardized English testing results.
