Kumasi -based DJ Sliming has added his voice to the ongoing public uproar about the fight against illegal mining in the country popularly known as Galamsey.

Following a social media post by President Akufo Addo on his activities for October 7,2022 , the DJ also took to social media , to give the President a very bad and negative response .

According to the President , he would be meeting with the National House of Chiefs and MMDCEs   on the Galamsey and that is exactly what infuriated DJ Sliming.

He sharply asked the President to head towards the bush where the illegal mining is carried out and stop wasting the taxpayer’s money in town for meetings.

DJ Sliming further intimated that the problem of galamsey is in the bushes but not in town.

Obviously angered by the social media post of the President, the DJ  uttered an  obviously  foul word against the person of the President .He noted  the President’s head looks like ‘Fan Dango’.

The  utterances from DJ Sliming is enough evidence of the frustration most Ghanaians are experiencing due to the fact the President has not been able to stop illegal mining in the country as promised .

As a matter of fact , many Ghanaians are asking the President to step down due to his inability to win the fight galamsey  and what seems to be his lackadaiscal attitude towards fighting the galamsey.

Even though the President claims his fight against galamsey is on course, many Ghanaians are wondering how come politicians withing the ruling NPP government as well as some chiefs are involved in galamsey but then they have not been apprehended in any way .
