Former President John Mahama Challenges 2020 Presidential Election Results At Supreme Court

The former President made this known via social media this afternoon adding that the petition was filed on his behalf by his lawyers challenging the results of the 2020 Presidential election as declared by Mrs.Jean Mensah, chairperson of the Electoral Commission.
According to Former President John Mahama, the petition details serious violations of the 1992 Constitution by the Electoral Commission and seeks among others, a declaration that the purported declaration of the election results on December 9,2020 is null and void and of no effect.
In case the Supreme Court should agree to the case as presented by former President John Mahama , there is the likelihood of a run-off between him and President Nana Akufo Addo.
