After extensive deliberations , the Ghana Football Association has decided on and has appointed Chris Hughton as the substantive Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars.
In a statement released by the Ghana Football Association, the decision to appoint Chris Hughton is in line with the vision of the GFA to continue with the project of building a formidable squad that started with Former Black Stars coach, Otto Addo before and during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Tournament.
Before his appointment as the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton had been the Technical Advisor of the Black Stars for the past twelve months.
Assistant Coaches George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani would still be part of the Black Stars Technical Team and would assist Chris Hughton.
